We would like to be understood as we mean it. We would like to be taken serious in our needs. No matter how clumsy and imperfect we express our need … even being silent, expecting other to just guess what we need. (Wouldn’t it be nice that they know our need, even if we don’t know it ourselves … 🙂 )

We would like to feel that we matter in our needs. Understanding is so beautiful. And it is so painful, when we get a sense that the other person does not understand us. So – let’s never forget how wonderful it feels, when any person gives us that sense to be deeply understood in a way that we trust.
