Giraffe

Marshall Rosenberg in his teaching of compassionate communication use the giraffe as a symbol for a language that connects with life, rather than a language that seeks to create cooperation through threats or judgments. By extension this language of life become widely know as “Giraffe”.

Mediation in Giraffe requires the use of giraffe ears, to hear the true meaning behind the labels and judgments that people usually use to express their needs. For an example, see Connecting to Life in War Times.
