Love and respect
Since its founding in 2009 under the direction of Arianna Savall and Petter Udland Johansen, the Hirundo Maris ensemble has continually discovered new musical worlds and forms of expression. In their new project presented here, the musicians deal with the art song of the 19th century. When recording, they attached great importance to incorporating their personality and enthusiasm into the ensemble’s typical sound, combining love and respect.
