Definition: I use the term “enemy image” to refer to all cases, where we believe another living being or group of people wants to harm or kill us.
Defined as such we can find enemies in the family, at work, between nations or in nature.

In human relations the attribution of hostile intentions to another party can have truly tragic destructive effects.
