Blame the other of what you are doing

This strategy is known from childhood.

You beat your sibling and then scream loudly: “He has beaten me!!”
The adult comes and will have trouble to find out who the victim is.

One could call it blaming the victim of doing, what you are doing to them.

The strategy has a rather stark effect on the victim, which is not only mistreated but in addition blamed for doing that to the perpetator.

The strategy will most likely result in blocking compassion in the victim, causing anger and other feelings that are in fact more disempowering.
