Alla Pugacheva

Iconic Russian singer, famous over decades, came out in support of Ukraine and was cancelled by the Russian state media.

Alla stated that she cannot sing anymore, in the face of such deep grief and suffering caused by the war in Europe brought about by Putin. Some of her songs open my heart, for grieving. There is the Russian energy, the compassion, the warmth of the heart. Seeing her music in contrast with the tragedy of what is happening today, with Russia basically collapsing under a ruthless elite of violent mafia-type of people and taking so many good innocent people with them. The West has contributed to this situation, with the big investements in Russia, perhaps more to simple make money in a potentially big “market” and oblivious of the deep wounds in the souls of many people, who saw themselves as a “superpower” and a country that would bring “salvation” to the planet. A lot of grieving is possible.

Iceberg

White flowers
Very touching song, recorded live during a concert in Chernobyl 1986 – after the accident at nuclear power plant. The tenderness of the song really opens the heart for grieving.

Rise above the vanity – Olympics in Moscow – 1980
Iconic energetic song – Prosta, prosta, prosta …!
