Meditation – Being with our defenses and longings

Get comfortable … chairs …

Just let the body be settled and relaxed, unobstructed.

Let’s take a couple of deeper breath.

Feel in to the body, feel in to the energetic flow.

I notice myself slowing down.

Feel body, on the seat, on the chair.

Sense the body on the floor.

The support of the earth underneath the floor.

Bring a gentle awareness to the body …

to all the place where you are feeling, sensing …

if there is any pain or tension, simply bring awareness to that place.

Notice emotional feelings …

Notice the thoughts, story, imagery …

Bring awareness to the silence

that is in all of your thinking, feeling and sensing …

I take the part of my heart that is guarded

and the part of me and my heart that is longing

and bring it to life, to this group.

Taking a deeper breath, just allow your eyes to open, when you’re ready …
