The artists tried to fulfill their need for self-expression and autonomy, asserting themselves in this act of rebellion. They painted these word on the former prison building, where they had been denied to make an exposition of their art. This happened in 1976.
Their request was for freedom of expression and by making that request in that jackal way, they ended up with a prison sentence of 13 years combined for the two of them.
